FITB Membership Applications
A National Federation may apply to be a member of the FITB in accordance with our FITB Bylaws. We’ve provided a step-by-step guide to the membership application process which applies to Associate Member and Full Member applications.
1. REGISTER
Complete our National Federation Registration Form to give details about you and your team.
2. AGREE
Confirm you will follow FITB regulations and Bylaws and provide tchoukball without prejudice across your country
3. PLAN
Provide the FITB with a 5-year development plan for tchoukball in your country: show us how you will grow!
4. GOVERN
Provide your Bylaws or Statutes for your National Federation and your certificate of registration.
Here’s a breakdown of each step in a bit more detail.
Step 1 – Registration: We ask each National Federation (NF) to complete a form with the contact details for each of its key Executive Committee members as well as the NF itself.
Step 2 – Agreement: We need a signed agreement from the President and the General Secretary that they will follow FITB Bylaws and FITB Regulations as well as offering tchoukball to everyone without prejudice and in the spirit of the Tchoukball Charter.
Step 3 – Plan: A 5-year development plan with moderate detail, designed to show the NF is committed over the medium to long-term to tchoukball.
Step 4 – Govern: The major documents used to establish the NF in the country or state it operates in, plus some final gathering of data to comply with the FITB Bylaw requirements.
Once complete, the form will be submitted to the FITB Secretariat, which processes the application. The remaining documents that have been downloaded should be emailed together to secretariat@fitb.org where the application will be dealt with personally by our team. We may require further documentation as part of this process.
The FITB will provide support and guidance, working with all applicants to ensure a successful outcome where possible.
